Below you can find more information about how we process personal data. In this privacy statement we answer the most important questions about the processing of personal data. This applies to both the Dream Clinic tattoo studio and the independent tattoo artists who work for us.

How do we use your information:

We use your personal data to perform the our services or and we keep it as long as we are required by law to keep it. After that your personal data will be deleted.

 

Purpose and basis of collecting your data:

Dream Clinic processes your name and contact details since it is necessary for performing and delivering our services, for example being able to contact you about your appointment, our service or any relevant information.

We also ask for your date of birth to ensure you are of legal age to obtain a tattoo or a piercing – this is based on local legal regulations. The basis of processing therefore is to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subjects as data controllers.

 

In our consent form we request you to potentially provide medical information about yourself, which is required to ensure your health and safety during getting tattooed of pierced. (This is required also by the local hygiene regulations and the GGD – the municipal health service.)

 

We process this personal data because it is mandatory for our services and we ask explicitly for your permission to do so. Also, the basis of the data processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims if necessary.

Potentially we may make photos of your tattoo or piercing made in our studio, to use them on our social media sites or in advertisements. For such purpose we always ask for your explicit consent and you always have the right to object.

We collect analytival information via our website for marketing purposes on the legal ground of legitimate interest. You have the option to object against it via our cookie consent form.

A cookie from Google is placed on the Dream Clinic website, as part of their analytics service. Dream Clinic uses this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the website. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or if third parties process the information on behalf of Google. We do not have influence on this. The information that Google collects is anonymized as much as possible. The information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
In addition to the security measures included in our agreement with Google, Standard Contractual Clauses have also been agreed for an appropriate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

Who can access my personal data?

Your personal data collected by us is only accessible by the absolutely required personnel: the owner of our studio and the relevant artist, who will work on your tattoo or piercing.

We will not send you newsletters or other promotional mails, and do not intend to do so. All these will be handled via social media instead where you can decide to follow us or not.

 

How long will my data be stored?

Your data will be stored up to 3 years after your last appointment due to health and safety reasons and legal purposes. (See under purpose and basis paragraph.)

 

The information we collect about you is stored in the securely with safety measures in place.

 

What rules apply to the processing of personal data?

When processing personal data, Chronos Creative BV (and Dream Clinic therefore) is bound by the applicable laws and regulations – both Dutch and European laws like GDPR. Therefore you have the right at any time to request information about the personal information we hold about you. If the information is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you can request that the information be corrected or deleted.

 

We cannot delete your information if, for example, there are legal requirements for its storage, accounting rules or other legitimate reasons to keep the information, for example unpaid debt.
